About Doshi & Co., Advocates

In or about year 1947 the Late Shri. Kapurchand Doshi, who was Advocate of Supreme Court and oath commissioner of Supreme Court. Set up a Law Firm in name of Doshi & Co., in the capital city of Karachi.

In year 1971, when Shri. Lalit Doshi son of Kapurchand Doshi started a Legal Practice as an Advocate at Bombay High Court after obtaining sanad from Maharashtra Bar Council at Goa, established Doshi & Co., in the chamber of Odavji Shah, who was a solicitor and partner in Shah & Co.

M/s Doshi & Co., its main office in the commercial, capital of India namely Mumbai in a heritage building in South Mumbai across the Bombay High Court, 314, 3rd Floor, Yusuf Building, Veer Nariman Road, Bombay - 400001.

The various rent cases of declaration, ejectment, recovery and ejectment of premises for re - development by the landlord under the Bombay Rent Act, 1999 and recovery of claims, and rent under the Maharashtra Rent Control for development re construction and alternative accommodation in Maharashtra Rent Control Sections 16(1)(i), 16(1)(j), 16(1)(k), Section 19 Protects tenants by mandating that if a landlord recovers possession for demolition/redevelopment and fails to start work or re-house the tenant, the tenant can apply to the court for possession or compensation.
